• We are now at the business end of our Adult Football Championships. Tickets are on general sale for this weekend’s Joe Mallon Renault SFC, The Auld Shebeen Athy IFC & Tom Cross Transport JFC games on the following link https://embed.futureticketing.ie/c/kildare-gaa/?ftredirect=1 – Please note all fixtures are ticket only events.

• The first Kildare GAA Club Draw took place last Friday in Joe Mallon Motors. Winners can be viewed on https://kildaregaa.ie/wp-content/uploads/sites/31/2021/09/Draw-1-Results-2021.pdf The 2^nd draw will be broadcast live on Kfm next Friday @ 6:30pm.

• Congratulations to Johnstownbridge & Kildare GAA footballer Daniel Flynn who was this week selected on the Sky Sports 2021 GAA Team of The Year.

• The Donnelly GAA All-Ireland Poc Fada Final was launched during the week. The competition will gets under way at 12 noon on Annaverna Mountain, in the Cooley Range, Ravensdale, Co. Louth on Saturday, September 25th.

• The GAA has launched a strategic planning survey to give every member and supporter a say in shaping its next five-year strategic plan. • Draft Provisional Dates for completion of the Kildare GAA Club Championships 2021 were circulated to Club Secretaries on Wednesday and can be viewed on https://kildaregaa.ie/draft-provisional-dates-for-completion-of-kildare-club-championships-2021/ All are asked to note that these dates are Provisional and are subject to change by CCC. The list above is not exhaustive or complete.

• On the week of the 23^rd September, the GAA invites all Clubs to open their doors to the wider community and support its GAA National Inclusive Fitness Day. Further information can be found on https://www.gaa.ie/news/gaa-invites-clubs-to-open-their-doors-for-gaa-national-inclusive-fitness-day/

• The countdown is on for next Monday when full indoor handball in all 32 counties will be permitted. Indoor Handball has been suspended since the beginning of the Pandemic in March ’20. Best of luck to all those returning to the courts.

• Congratulations to the 120 participants who attended an online Go Games Referee Course on Wednesday evening. It is hoped to develop a pathway for these referees to enable them to progress up to Adult games in the years to come.
